TDFZ Radio Show Don Garbutt Special Part One

A warm weekend welcome back dreamers one and all.

Join us today for the first installment of a very exclusive two part special focusing on the life and career of one of the worlds most respected and cutting edge pioneers we have on the global electronic music scene, Don Garbutt.

Earlier this month resident dreamer and host, Chris Newman caught up with the great Canadian synth maestro himself who was in the UK on a rare visit. As the location for this truly memorable encounter and interview itself the two of them chose the picturesque  outdoor setting right in the middle of the New Forest countryside in Hampshire.

Experinence and enjoy the first half of the recordings from this meeting as we explore Don’s early pioneering days into EM music, his involvement with such luminaries ranging from David Bowie to Oscar Peterson plus his work at the Harris Institute.

In today’s and next Saturday’s editions of this epic special we also get to hear for the very first time exclusive material from Don’s prolific recording catalogue. These include works from his own innovative creations as part of research and development into 3D and 4D sound techniques plus those from the mindblowing new  genre of electronic music he originated and is now synonamous with, Science/Physics Music.

Sit back, relax and enjoy todays sonic travels with Don and Chris and don’t forget to rejoin us here next Saturday for the second and the concluding  part of this TDFZ  Interview & Music Special.
